Karl Lagerfeld has made fashion magic designing for Chanel and Fendi, as well as at the helm of his own line.  Needless to say, his beautiful pieces tend to run a bit on the pricey side–that is, aside from a limited-edition collection for H&M back in 2004, and now, this season’s limited-edition Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse collection at Macy’s.

Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the collection pictured from left to right: Long Sleeve Metallic Tweed Jacket ($149), Montage Printed Scarf ($49), and the Sleeveless Pleat Detail Turtleneck ($74).  I also love that oversized sweater dress in the top photo, the Long Sleeve Triangle Pattern Sweater ($119).  Shop the collection now on Macys.com!

What are your favorites from the Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse collection?

Haven’t you heard?  The head-to-toe denim look is making a comeback–and now, Chanel will even have your nails wearing jeans!  Coming September 8th from Chanel as part of Fashion’s Night Out: a nail polish collection inspired by denim in three shades of blue.

Blue Rebel and Blue Boy match dark- and medium-rinse jeans, respectively, while Coco Blue (my personal favorite!) is a nod to worn-in, well-loved light-colored denim.  These $25 limited-edition nail colors will be available through September only, exclusively from Chanel online and boutiques.

For a high-quality $8 alternative available right now–and with free shipping using code SWEEP2)–check out Ibiza, Yummy, and Indigo by Zoya Natural Nail Polish.  (I already own Ibiza and love it–now I am dying to get my hands on Yummy!)

Yet another option, and the one that looks the most like actual denim?  Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Skinny Jeans, $10:

Are you a fan of the denim fashion trend?  How about denim nails?
